Heath Scientific introduce the new THT micro reaction calorimeter mRC™. Small volumes together with high sensitivity makes this the ideal tool for a variety of applications.

Utilising 1.5ml disposable reactors, this system gives rapid determination of both exothermic and endothermic reaction enthalpies. The use of a computer controlled addition syringe allows highly accurate and repeated dosing of reagents with the option of titration.

The added advantage of these measurements is the easy access of kinetic parameters and mechanisms from the data. Using only simple analysis and data manipulation it is easy to derive full reaction kinetics for a process from simple reactions.

Quickly & easily screen compatibility of drug and excipients

Instead of looking for incompatibilities at a single temperature over long time periods, a range of temperatures can be used. The fast equilibration of temperature within the mRC makes this approach possible
